The Great Sand Sea Eclipse

We went to Libya with Ancient World Tours to see some remarkable classical ruins and also to view the total eclipse of the Sun that took place on 29th March 2006.

This is our record of that trip The picture on the left says it all. (Credit: Terry Evans)

The most interesting page is probably the Photo Gallery. I've restricted this to a maximum of 15 pictures each. Where more were provided I've had to use some judgement! Read the instructions at the end of this page about how to view to best effect.
